Howard Johnson by Wyndham Miramichi Hotel & Suites

The facilities are not the newest, but the beds are comfortable, the Linens and sheets are modern, as is most of the decor. The rooms and bathroom are clean. The breakfast has a couple of hot items as well as the normal Continental breakfast items. The staff for very friendly. And the price is right.

I was surprised to find out it’s only a two star hotel. I really liked it and the price was reasonable. Room was clean, had all necessary accessories, bed - comfortable. It has a beautiful terrace for breakfast right near the water; basic breakfast was included and we enjoyed it with a view. The hotel also has a swimming pool we didn’t have a chance to try. As to things that could be improved: background noise of the equipment (the issue at many hotels in Canada), shower head.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained. A few scratches here and there, including on the doors probably due to luggage, did not detract from the experience, unless you're Ultra fussy. The staff were very friendly. If no one was at the desk when you arrive, there were signs to either ring the bell or to pick up the phone. Someone arrived shortly thereafter. The breakfast what's good for a buffet. The scrambled eggs were unsalted, so you can spice them to your liking. I only use pepper. There was bread and bagels for toasting. Plus an automated pancake maker which seemed quite popular but I did not use. Other selections include yogurt, cereals, tea and coffee, well cooked sausages. Recommended oh, and I will stay there again.

While the hotel is older, it has had numerous renovations. The kind staff makes up for the little imperfections. Great view. Our ringette team had a great stay- great price. We would stay again- value and friendly staff.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and each stay has been a fabulous experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are extemely well maintained and clean. There is a free breakfast each morning. Both times I have gotten a room here the beds were quite comfortable and the rooms were nice and clean and quiet. Thanks for making my trips comfortable and pleasant. I will be back again this summer!

The service is great, and the stay is very welcoming. I went to the restaurant and in the hotel, a man named Marshall was working there; he made me feel like my experience was his greatest concern, and he wanted to make sure I was having a great experience. It left a lasting impression. The food was amazing, and affordable not to mention. Overall amazing.

The service can be sketchy here. They seem to turn over waitresses and kitchen staff a lot. But despite this the food is always good and any waitresses I've had, regardless of how new, have always been very helpful and friendly. I've enjoyed many great meals here, but some of them have taken a couple of hours.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The restaurant and pool were both down for the holidays but they ensured we knew! It was difficult to find the place; the sign was not lit and it was a dark foggy night. We actually entered the parking lot and left at one point while searching because there was no visible signage. We stayed in the King Suite; it was great! My only complaint about the room was that several light bulbs didn't work. The room was definitely worth the price! The whirlpool tub was excellent; everything was spotless. A very comfortable stay! Thank you!
